Day 40 — Short, Sweet, and with Gratitude — 40 Days of Writing, Spring Session

Here it is, Day 40, and I have a plethora of feelings: pride in accomplishment, a bit of sadness, jubilation and inspiration. The 40 Days of Writing projects have been the best thing for me, to get my creative juices flowing, to explore untapped feelings, and at times, to entertain. I write/blog very little — if at all — without an assignment. The 40 Days helps keep me accountable.

This round of 40 Days was probably my favorite, as I felt more interaction than in the past. I feel that by opening up more, I brought more people in.

I so much enjoyed getting to know you — my 40 Days compatriots — through your writing; I relished the opportunity to be invited into your lives. Curious by nature, I have always taken an interest in how other people live, and getting a chance to know many of you through what you have shared, has sated that curiosity.

Thanks so much to everyone who helped make this 40 Days so enjoyable, by sharing your great stories and talent, and by giving me feedback on mine.

If I feel inclined and inspired, I may still write, and possibly post on this site between projects. I will visit often to see if anyone else does. I would also love the opportunity to visit your actual blog pages, if that’s okay.

Meanwhile, thank you for everything. I look forward to the next 40 Days, and hope to see you all there.

Hey Kelly. Do you think Chuck would want to borrow a sport coat jacket from Randy. I mentioned to him you were a little worried about Chuck’s wardrobe since he rarely needs a suit. Randy has a lot of them.
